•  To foster, protect and further the business and interests of customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other professionals in the Trade.
  •  To encourage, aid and maintain a high standard of efficiency among customs brokers and freight forwarders in southern California, with a view to protecting the interests of the government, importers, customs brokers and freight forwarders, and to insure fair, equitable and uniform administration of the United States Customs laws and regulations issued pursuant thereto.
  •  To secure, for ourselves and our businesses, freedom from injustice and unlawful exactions.
  •  To produce uniformity and certainty in the procedure and practice of customs brokerage and freight forwarding, and to regulate, consistent with law, the business of customs brokers and freight forwarders in southern California with a view to avoiding any practices or procedures detrimental to the interests of the United States and to licensed customs brokers and freight forwarders or their businesses.
  •  To settle differences among the members of the Association.
  •  To promote sociability and develop fraternal spirit among all firms and persons engaged in international trade.
  •  To maintain amicable relations between the members and importers and exporters, their representatives, government and the Trade. To prevent injustice and unreasonable discrimination against any person or persons by any combination, person, or conspiracy in any matter relating to the business of the members of the Association. In general, to foster and advance the import and export business of the Customs Port of Los Angeles/Long Beach and the world trade of the United States in general.
