Seminars & Conferences LACBFFA takes an active role in organizing and participating in seminars and conferences which are relevant to its members and the industry as a whole. Regular seminars include Food & Drug Product Code Training; Rules of Origin and Marking; HAZMAT; Electronic Interface with Federal Agencies. LACBFFA has Customs Brokers Training Courses & Licensing Exam Review classes in the Spring and Fall. These classes afford our members and other interested parties an opportunity to review Customs Regulations prior to the U.S. Customs Broker Examination. LACBFFA holds monthly luncheons or dinners with guest speakers covering a full range of issues of concern to the membership.
LACBFFA's Newsletter contains updates from the various working committees, news about the National Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association of America, Inc. (NCBFFA), the Pacific Coast Council of Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders (PPC), information on new members and a calendar of events.
Our member directory contains a complete listing of members and local government agencies, and Los Angeles and Long Beach terminal operators. This resource guide is complementary for members, importers and exporters. It is distributed to the members of California Congressional Delegation, U.S. Foreign Commercial offices abroad, the Foreign Consular Corps In Los Angeles, Los Angeles and Long Beach Port offices abroad, California Overseas Offices and other City and State officials. The directory is available to others at an additional charge. |
