Previous examination questions are provided to familiarize you with the material covered and the format of the exam. Rigorous training in how to effectively research the exam questions within the time frame is also covered.
You will need to purchase the most recent edition of Title 19, Code of Federal Regulations, 19 CFR Parts 1 thru the End and The Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States.

This course is taught by Norman W. Harris III, a Licensed Customs Broker and Certified Customs Specialist. He has been a licensed Customs Broker for more than 20 years and is the Corporate Compliance Manager at Norman Krieger, Inc. He is also the President of the LACBFFA.

Enrollment at El Camino College is not required to take this course.

We are offering one scholarship for our class of winter 2019. The recipient will be able to attend the class at no cost (cost of class is $595) and the class materials will also be covered (Copy of the Title 19 Code of Federal Regulations Parts 0 to 140, 141 to 99 and 200 to End and the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the U.S.).
