BGI Worldwide Logistics, Inc. has reached a milestone this February, celebrating 20 years of business.  The company has grown from the dreams of founders, Bruce Robertson and Gabriel Shweiri, to a company with multiple locations and nearly 40 dedicated professionals.

Discussing the milestone, CEO Gabriel Shweiri, remarked “It gives me great pride in joining BGI employees, customers and business partners in celebrating the company’s anniversary.  We have come a long way since the business was started in 1999 and we are very excited about our future as the company continues to thrive in somewhat turbulent times.”

BGI readied itself for future growth by completing the custom integration of a new operating platform, CargoWise, to increase productivity, increase efficiencies and provide better visibility of day-to-day operations.  Visibility is now a key customer requirement, and CargoWise web tracking capabilities provide BGI’s customers with 24/7 access to tracking information through a feature-rich online portal. BGI’s ability to provide leading edge solutions based on customer specific needs has helped the company to grow over the past 20 years and offers the promise of future growth.
