George R. Tuttle, III is an attorney at Tuttle Law in the San Francisco Bay Area, specializing in international trade regulation and customs law for over 38 years. His expertise encompasses customs duties, tariff classification, marking, and penalty cases across various industries, including electronics, textiles, and food products. He also advises on compliance issues related to TSCA, FDA, and FCC for imported goods and assists clients in developing trade compliance programs while participating in Customs’ Importer Self- Assessment (ISA) and C-TPAT initiatives.
Mr. Tuttle has contributed to several significant publications, including chapters in the ABA's "U.S. Customs: A Practitioner’s Guide" and "United States Export Controls." He frequently speaks on customs and export topics for various trade organizations and is currently co-chair of the Customs Committee for the ABA’s Section on International Law.
