It was during a psychology class many years ago that I first heard the words that would change my life forever. "There will always be rocks in the road ahead of us. They will be stumbling blocks or stepping stones; it all depends on how you use them." This quote from Friedrich Nietzsche has become the embodiment of my professional philosophy. Instead of looking at challenges as "problems", I look at them as "opportunities", both for myself and for my team to develop and grow into even better professionals and people.
