This webinar will be an introduction to export controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and the Export Administration Regulations and determining jurisdiction between the two regulations

Bruce Leeds, Esq.

About the Speaker

Mr. Leeds is an attorney at law and of counsel to Braumiller Law Group PLLC, a Dallas-based international trade law firm.  He works from Los Angeles and concentrates on export and import compliance matters, including ITAR, EAR and OFAC issues.

Mr. Leeds began his career as an Import Specialist and Team Leader with U.S. Customs in Los Angeles.  He later worked at Hughes Aircraft Company, Hughes Space & Communications Company and The Boeing Company in import and export compliance positions. 

He has served in several trade organizations and committees, including the Commercial Operations Advisory Committee to US Customs & Border Protection, the Private Sector Consultative Group to the World Customs Organization, the Foreign Trade Association and the American Association of Exporters & Importers.

Bruce holds a B.A. from California State University Los Angeles and a J.D (Cum Laude) from the University of West Los Angeles School of Law.  He is a member of the California State Bar Association, holds a Customs Broker license (LCB) and a Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) designation.  Mr. Leeds is a U.S. Army veteran.

About the Webinar:

During the webinar, you will have the opportunity to send in questions to the speaker on the topics under discussion and they will be answered upon completion of the webinar. You will need access to a speakerphone and computer with internet connections and PowerPoint capability. Instructions necessary to participate, as well as the call-in number for the webinar, will be included in your registration confirmation. You will need to complete the instructions prior to joining the webinar on Thursday, March 28th.
