CBP has announced its plan for 2024-2025, aimed at accelerating the testing and adoption of global interoperability standards for trade technology. This initiative has the potential to enhance data exchange between various systems and eliminate existing data silos, making it a transformative development for the global supply chain. To increase supply chain transparency and set the stage for faster, more secure data sharing by enabling federal agencies to safely exchange data with traditional and non-traditional trade entities worldwide, in near real-time. We invite you to explore the latest updates on the current progress and learn how Global Interoperability standards are being developed from the U.S. Customs Border and Protection, Trade Transformation Office, and Office Of Trade.


Speaker: Vincent Annunziato, Director, Business Transformation & Innovation Division, Trade Transformation Office, Office of Trade, U.S. Customs and Border Protection

Director Annunziato has over twenty-five years of experience with Customs and Border Protection (CBP). He began his career in 1996 as an Officer at the port of Los Angeles and in 2004 he came to headquarters as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) program. Mr. Annunziato has led many high-profile projects with such notable releases as the ACE Single Window, Cargo Release, and Free and Secure Trade (FAST). Director Annunziato currently oversees the Business Transformation and Innovation division who researches and tests innovative products for the Office of Trade. Most recent ventures include Large Language Models, Robotics Processing Automation, Global Interoperability, Forced Labor and Green Trade.
