Alfonso Orozco Jr, Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC)
Alfonso “Al” Orozco Jr. is a Compliance Investigator with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). He brings over 15 years of prior experience with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), specializing in trade enforcement.
During his tenure with CBP, Al served as a Customs Officer on the Merchandise Enforcement Team at the Port of Long Beach. His expertise includes identifying, interdicting, and resolving trade violations involving imported goods.
He brings extensive knowledge in import compliance, regulatory enforcement, risk assessment, and interagency coordination, along with a strong commitment to protecting the public from unsafe consumer products.
Lisa Schultz, Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC)
Lisa Schultz is a Compliance Investigator (CI) with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), where she actively conducts import operations at the Port of Long Beach and Los Angeles International Airport.
She has 17 years of combined federal service, beginning her career with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a Consumer Safety Officer (CSO) and Import Specialist (IS). In this role, she served as the sole Import CSO for the ports of Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona. While stationed in Arizona, her responsibilities ranged from conducting routine inspections to developing criminal investigations.
During her nine years in Arizona, Lisa established an airport operations program and led trade outreach efforts in collaboration with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), as well as local and state partners.
