He advises U.S. agencies including CBP, Homeland Security, and Treasury on key issues such as forced labor, e-commerce, and regulatory modernization. Lenny serves as General Counsel to the NCBFAA and represents U.S. interests at the World Customs Organization. A former senior attorney at Customs Headquarters and NAFTA negotiator, he has helped thousands of companies navigate complex import compliance and valuation challenges.
Patty Tschaepe, J&K Fresh, LLC
Patty Tschaepe is Chief Compliance Officer at J&K Fresh, LLC, a customs brokerage specializing in fresh produce. She leads compliance strategy and regulatory initiatives supporting a diverse client base. A licensed U.S. Customs Broker with more than 30 years of industry experience, Patty serves as Chairman and Seaport Chair of the Los Angeles Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders Association, Vice President of the Pacific Coast Council, and a board member of the NCBFAA. She holds an associate degree from FIDM and is based in San Pedro, California.
