In the industry since 1989, and a licensed broker since 1991, Mark Neumann moved to LA from SEA in 1991 and has long been in supervisorial and managerial roles in the industry - following the merger-mania of the late 1990's and early 2000's, he ended up in the BAX Global import compliance dept in Irvine, CA from 2004-2007. Following the DB Schenker takeover of BAX, he set sites on Mainfreight- a new company to the USA, but not to Oceania- and opened up their first CHB operation in 2008. He now oversees 11 CHB offices for Mainfreight as well as having export compliance, CTPAT, FMC, CNS/IATA, and TSA in his compliance portfolio. Passion drives Mainfreight- and it drives Mark as well. The future is here - and Mark and Mainfreight are pushing forward to the next frontier in compliance.
